The Startup Pilot Canvas
Reduce the "Oh shit, we should've thought of that upfront" moments in your pilot
I always ask prying questions when I see startups running their pilot
Often, founders respond: “Oh shit, we should’ve thought of that upfront”
To avoid you making similar mistakes, use this template (Miro link below)
Instructions
Follow the numbered columns: 1 → 2 → 3
The pilot should be a blend of your customers’ and your aims.
Don’t guess what the customer wants. You can use the questions in this canvas to actually inquire about what the customer wants.
Especially engineers, talk to your customer, please. Your customer’s ideal pilot outcome likely is not a torque or number.
Use this canvas as a discussion probe with your team. “What you want to learn” is often a fun one for discussion.
Not familiar with Customer Pilot. Where can I get more info about that?
